It is has now been confirmed that the first single from Ben's latest record will be released before the album.
Frank Maynard (http://www.fmaynard.com/bff/) stated in a recent email that the single was due in a few weeks.
Rollingstone.com has made mention that the first single will be the title track of the album, "Rockin' the Suburbs".
Also, the Magical Armchair Mailing List (see News update, 1/June/2001) has been taken offline again until further notice due to server problems.
