Ben Folds playing outside We've had a hot tip that this week's shows with the Western Australia Symphony Orchestra (WASO) could be a trial for an Australian tour.

According to a source close to the shows' arrangers, there are going to be Eastern (Australian)-state promoters at the Perth concerts to see how viable adding orchestra-accompanied dates in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide would be.

So if you're lucky enough to attend one of the two shows on the 12th and 13th, be sure to look happy, sing along, talk loudly about how great it is, and spend a lot of money. You owe it to your countrymen.
