RCA Studio A Is Bought. Ben is Vacating in November.

1/August/2014 - 21:05

Sad news across the Ben Folds world today. Ben posted today that the rent at his studio of the last 12 years is going up 124%, and he will be vacating at the end of this lease (November.) Save Music Row is going to keep on going, however. Sad news for Ben and co, alongside the fan base.

The Symphony Tour just returned from Europe where it had some pretty amazing success. A little time off now before kicking it up again in September, and then to Australia in November. Ben is working on a symphony inspired album, which will be likely his last record even partially recorded at RCA A.

If you wanted to feel old; Gracie and Louis turned 15 last week.

Darren has been touring with Sharon Van Etten and they were recently on David Letterman, check it out! We expect this is pushing back the release of Hotel Lights' fourth LP, which a little birdie might have told us was done. Also, she's been posting some great photos of the band (which include our drummer, obviously) on her Instagram

Robert played a show of originals a few weeks back, where he's playing an acoustic guitar. And a facebook post or two, might have enlightened us to the idea that Sledge is going to try his hand at a solo album!
