Landed played on Wimbledon coverage

28/June/2005 - 12:01

Tim Henman - not a happy manI know this has been reported already, but it was too amusing not to post.

The BBC's coverage of Wimbledon ended the other day with a montage of the players knocked out so far, accompanied by 'Landed'. It's not the first time Ben's been used by BBC sport; remember when 'Army' was being used to advertise the Six Nations back in '03?

Most amusingly, the lyric 'If you wrote me off, I'd understand it' was played over footage of Henman. Heh heh.

Thanks to James H for the details.
