Ben's new album - First rumours.

With Ben renting a studio in Nashville, and recording sections of songs at gigs, his new album can't be that far away.

And so, the first rumour has made it to the net, on the benfolds.com message board.

I work for one of the nation's largest specialty music retailer and I caught wind of the release date for Ben's new studio album. The date is 9.16.03. Let the countdown begin!

Can it be true? It wouldn't be unlikely.
