Ben Folds and the WASO - exclusive info and photos!

Not often we bring you media from an event BEFORE it's actually happened, but here we are with a 'burbs exclusive!

Australian superfan Chris Horgan (Horgz) managed to get into the rehearsal for the performances with the Western Australia Symphony Orchestra (WASO) on the 12th and 13th, and has scooped some information and pictures!

The songs being rehearsed were as follows (in no order):

Boxing,
Lullabye,
Brick,
The Luckiest,
Army,
Philosophy,
One Angry Dwarf,
Last Polka,
Zak and Sara,
Narcolepsy,
Evaporated

They ranged from "a little abstract" to "fantastic", all in all sounding like a good variety.
He said that there we around ten(!) cameras on the scene ready to record the show, raising the possibility of a DVD.

As you can see from the pictures, there've got quite an elaborate light show set up for the performance. As speculated this is really shaping up to be something very special indeed.

Looks like all you Australians have a real treat in store over the next two evenings. Let's hope the rumours about an Australia-wide tour come to fruition (and that someone manages to tape one)!
