Ben Folds Five re-releases + other assorted news

Both the Brick single and Whatever And Ever Amen are scheduled for re-release in Japan this year, both with new bonus tracks - thanks James for the info. Rumour has it that the bonus track on WAEA will be a version of Song For The Dumped with some of the lyrics sung in japanse (thanks JBJ for that), but neither this nor the possiblity of a US re-release have been confirmed.

Other assorted news:

From Frank's site - New book features quotes from Ben:Mouthing Off: A Book of Rock and Roll Quotes, due to be released in May, contains quotations and photographs of rock & roll, metal, punk and indie musicians. Described as "a fun, funny and entertaining book that you'll have a hard time putting down", several of Ben's quotes appear in John D. Luerssen's compilation, which is due to be released in May. (again, thanks JBJ for the heads-up)

From the .org - Ben's new released single (Still Fighting It) has debuted on the top 20 in the Aussie [alternative] music charts, to come in at a respectable no. 12.

On the official site - various tour dates have been added or removed, it's worth checking just to make sure you're up to date on what's going on.

I also want to apologise for the lack of updates lately - it's getting to the end of term here, which is a very busy time for us. But it's over for summer in less than a month, and then we'll be around a bit more. Meanwhile, any news tends to show up on the boards so if you keep an eye on those you won't miss much.
