Watch the new video for 'Bastard'

The new video for 'Bastard' has made it online thanks to - who else - Rage, the Aussie TV show that brought us the original Landed video. (To watch it, just scroll down to Music > Rage.)

The video is a long montage of live shows, starting with the band and crew setting up before going on to clips of various songs (like Ben's 'Not the Same' audience conducting) interspersed with some strange shots of a 1970s-style 'hair' band dancing around the place, filmed at Ben's Brooklyn show in August.

The new shots are few and far between, presumably being slotted in for a laugh amongst all the real footage (should confuse a good few casual fans!). However, I can't help but feel I've seen it all before. It's nice to have a video for the exposure it gets the song, but I can't really see this becoming the indie-hit-making video that accompanied "Rockin' the Suburbs". I watched it at work - sans sound - and I kept expecting it to fade to the words '1966-2005'. Creepy.
