So There in 2005

I knew I recognized "So There" the first time I heard it...

It's the song he plays at the end of the "Making of Songs For Silverman" DVD!

Ha! I love discovering stuff like that. Makes you wonder how many songs, great songs at that, he has just lying around. This one is from as early as 2005, and "Long Way to Go"'s chorus is from the fake WTN album in 08.

I think Ben has mentioned lately that he finished up a song that he had spent 7 or 8 years writing. Guess we know which one that is now!

It's fascinating to hear on a few occasions when Ben plays the new songs solo. (He's played some of them by himself during a few orchestra shows with backing of the ensemble that sounds very different than the gigs with yMusic.  This is the first complete solo with just the piano.)
A one-hit wonder with no hits...

Hey, that's Oh-Ned-Er!

The interruptions are a bit annoying, but still a good listen.

It's nice to hear a "Not A Fan" without the f*** you at the end.  Never really felt it was necessary given the music and lyric that precedes it.

these sound great without ymusic!! not a dig at them, but they sound like classic Ben in this form.
