One correction. It was Song for the Dumped and then Army.
Out of the number of shows I've gone to this was one of the best. The band sounded as fresh, vigorous, funny, and solid as I've ever heard them. That they can still command a room like that is a testament. And the thoroughly packed crowd was kickass, save for the jackasses that talked loudly through the start of "Thank You for Breaking My Heart" and this couple behind us who felt the need to keep chatting through a song until they got a stare thrown their way. Everyone launching into the horn parts on "Army" without prompting -- of course, as it was still a solo Ben staple, everyone was conditioned -- and the sound effects on "Underground" after so many years was wild. So awesome to see Darren on the drums again live and Sledge rocking the bass and the stand-up bass (one of my favorites). And Folds was a dorky and engaging as always. Thoroughly entertaining evening!
