I am positive of it. Unless someone has heard it without sharing another one being released.

And yeah. The live versions of the songs with alternate titles are far better than these. However. These are a good hoot. Remind me of RtS b-sides. Which we all know were shat out in a day, so perhaps it's the same idea. Gotta say the fact that SFS had no b-sides (except Bitches, which ended up on SSSG anyway) was kind of sad.

I feel that the lyric
"with all the people waiting to hear your next cd"
is rather fitting at the moment!

Yeah. He knows we've been waiting. And he knows that we all don't think SSSG counts for anything.

Somehow I doubt it.

And seeing as I have no current future gigs my statement is kind of worthless.

Dr Yang requires alot of Tambo man action. Would that work on stage?! I would like to see that.

You see, I've felt for a while that Free Coffee and TBWN are rather dull in the live versions - they're lively, but musically not very interesting - with Hiroshima they make the album sound very samey. These ones are much nicer. IMO.

I'm sure I'll be disappointed, and the live ones will make it on the album and these are just fakes, but I really like the idea that Ben has been playing fakes for the last few months. It has a certain cheekiness that I love.

if there's one word to describe Ben, it's cheeky without doubt.  but, that's an extremely far-fetched conspiracy theory.  why play fakes all this time?  i hope those weren't fakes.

Yeah. I gotta say, I have a certian attachment to the live versions.

That and
"you wanna know why?"
"Why?"
"Cause you're a douche, that's why."

make me laugh every time. maybe not that intelligent lyrically (but neither is a lot of SFTD, but it's still a rocking song). it makes me smile. and why would you not want to yell that at ben at live shows. really?

You say fakes, I say two albums for the price of one :) I think we should just be happy we have LOADS of new songs.

Surely this Free Coffee's lyrics are no less stupid than the live one...

Okay. Someone want to clue me in on how we got this leak? Where did it first appear?

Andy has this source. I've been doing some wondering on how close to the source this source is.

wasn't Side of the Road an SFS B-side? (Also, you might be able to count the strings version of Landed.)

You see, I've felt for a while that Free Coffee and TBWN are rather dull in the live versions - they're lively, but musically not very interesting - with Hiroshima they make the album sound very samey. These ones are much nicer. IMO.

you really think the live version of free coffee is less musically interesting? i think it's a lot more interesting than this album version. this version sounds like jesusland with worse chords. i like the live version's chords quite a bit, plus it has that weirdo trippy bridge.

the bitch went nuts wasn't that great originally but this one sounds like rent-a-cop, which is all i need to say. you're right about hiroshima though, that song is awfully boring. the same 4 chords from start to finish.

remember how ben reacted when we judged his unfinished songs?  if they weren't the real songs, why would he have given a damn?
nobody deserves posts on their myspace site asking if they stabbed basketballs.
