If you've got the CDs can you FLAC this? Actually, I might already have those. If it's an arse to do then hang fire until I check at home tonight.

It's a soundboard recording made up from two gigs BFF did in Japan on the 19th and 20th of May 1997.

Andy: Do you have it already? Please FLAC it.
TheGreatBenFolio: I could teach you how to FLAC.
This DOMO! Ben-chan desu! bootleg is a great find and a wonderful addition to a fan's collection. It would be very nice to have these in FLAC.

I had a dig around my collection and couldn't find it. HOWEVER I *did* find the full BFF gig from the 20th May 1997 at Akasaka Blitz, Tokyo, Japan - aka one of the shows that made up the DOMO BCD bootleg - in FLAC, so I've thrown that up on wokeup: http://www.wokeupwaytoolate.com/filedump/bff1997-05-20/It's a great show. Here's the notes as written in the info file by the legendard Alan Munshower (anyone remember him? 'Qualitease'?) This is the entire 05/20/97 show from the Japanese bootleg double disc set "Domo! Ben-Chan Desu!". These flac files come directly from an original pressing of the bootleg. Disc two originally had half of 05/19/97 as filler, but that has been omitted for the sake of better organization and smaller file size. This set was the most commonly found BF5 pressed bootleg, sometimes even popping up in US stores, under the name "Girls Girls Girls". The performance is of course excellent, and being that it is in Tokyo, we get treated to two rarities: 'For All the Pretty People' and 'Mitchell Lane', written by Robert and Darren respectively. Other highlights include the western intro to 'Julianne', 'Kane-Kaese' (Song for the Dumped sung in Japanese), 'Sports and Wine' w/ drum solo, and the ridiculously idiotic DJ intro. Enjoy! Alan Munshower 04/05 ~A

There'd be very few soundboard due to the taping policy. However, there are some great audience recordings.
If you've not already, then sign up to dimeadozen and thetradersden - a routine check every now and then will steadily boost your collection.

I did with btetree, dimeadozen, and trader's den. The only sbds I know are the berlin one, domo, irving and the other fm recordings. I only recently joined the three trade torrent sites (more or less a year ago) and I have been on a search to the other sbds I missed.
Thanks Andy!

I remember Alan... I still have his version of Smoke on my old hard drive.
Oh, and I recently added Ben's songs from Over The Hedge to wokeup.

So, someone please explain to me how this Mitchell Lane worked.
Cause I must admit, I never listened to the recording before (what?!) and then I noticed Mitchell Lane in it while I was updating wokeup............... and, it's DARREN?
Was this regular? I'm just asking cause you know in 1997 I was a whole whopping 11 years old.

I don't think he regularily sang it, maybe only in Japan, because it's (as far as I know) the only bootleg with Darren on lead vocals. Well, since 1999 or so when I started downloading them. Some of the older fans may know better.
