as a huge fan of against me! i can't say how much i dislike the new album. i hate to be all "they signed to a major lable. they sold out." but the truth is, they signed to a major and they put out a lack luster album. it's not even a third of what 'reinventing axl rose' is. i've listened to this album only a handful of times since i bought it. so when i read about this on punknews.org i was really hesitant but i like it! i like it a lot. i'll probably end up listening to this version much, much more than the original. i'm really happy right now. [although i think the point of 'americans abroad' is lost a little with ben singing it. an american singing "americans abroad. americans abroad. i hope i'm not like them but i'm not so sure" is totally different than anyone who is not american singing it. -but it's kinda funny if you think about it- ]
