What Is Your Favorite Album?

So, I'm almost certain this has been done before, but I was bored. And also curious, mostly because the answer to this question (for me) has changed recently. My favorite used to be TUBORM, and now it's Self-Titled. So take your pick, and discuss!

Whatever and Ever Amen is classic.  Can't beat it.  Self-titled is way up there too.

TUBORM I think, but that's a tough one.

Also, "I like ben folds solo more"? Seems like a bit of a cop-out if you ask me. I'm glad no-one's voted for  that so far.

Lol - are you feeling a bit nostalgic for the days of Josh, Alex?

(holds in tears)

He hated me so much!!!

(BTW, got Black Sheep Boy in the post this morning - gonna listen soon, as I also got some new Iron & Wine stuff and Fionn Regan's album... Listening to Okkervil first, but when I went to bed I was halfway through a Built To Spill binge so I'm having the courtesy to finish that first)

Also, I voted for the s/t. It's not just BFF's best album, it's one of the best albums of all time (not that the others aren't, ahem).

Self titled has always been my fave. Though, I have been listening to TUBORM more lately.

This is fun! I only put that "I like solo Ben Folds more" because of Josh. Glad you caught on Alex!

When it comes down to it, that's what I'd say, too.

WAEA by a whisker...but it also has a sentimental attachment which gives it an edge over the others.  I'd take any one of them if I found myself stuck with only one album for the rest of my days. (OMG, what a thought!)

yeah, i think sentimental value is the reason i chose Self-titled. so many great memories with that cd. the first song i ever heard from the Five was Julianne (an odd one i know!) which is of course off a self-titled. i also remember that every song from s/t was my favorite song ever at some point in time. i cant really say that with the other cds, no matter how much i love them.
also, self-titled was the cd i listened to the first time i got stoned. so there's some sentimental value.
