can't wait to hear this, setlist is awesome!! download at 47%.....

Kate needs way more attention than it gets from ben these days, so it's awesome that he played it (even if it's just because of the radio girl).

What I was most impressed with is Still Fighting It... every time I've heard him do it recently he really could barely squeak it out... but this time, it was wonderful. He had to go into falsetto a few times, but it really worked.

Still Fighting It sounded good, but what is the reason for Ben struggling with it lately?  Has he had a cold?

This was also the first time I heard Don't Change Your Plans solo.  It was fantastic.  The part where he goes into the bridge where the horns usually are was really cool.

It was also my first time to hear Lullabye solo.  Damn cool!  Does anyone know what he did to make the percussive sound?  It doesn't exactly sound like a foot on the floor... unless it was a special type of flooring.  Does he put a mic there?

Thanks to those who made this recording available.  \m/

The falsetto on Kate was totally off key, I thought it was funny.

I really love DCYP and Lullabye solo, and Lullabye sounded even better than with WASO.

I'm still amazed at lullabye. The solo in the middle is just one of the best solos i've ever heard, and ben is probably just improvising and messing around with the chords. Don't know how he does that shit but whenever i try to improvise, i find myself some old patterns but nothing new and original...

I also liked gracie, this song seems to grow on me now.

Mate, that wasn't "off key".
Ben sings the high parts in all the hamony bits and he sings a high 'a' which is the 3rd of the chord (the chord being an F in the second inversion {i.e. with a 'c' on the bottom}).

It is quite amusing though that Ben finds getting into Kate (the song ppl!) difficult. At the Brum gig he had to have a few tries and then ask what the first line was so he could reaquaint himself hehe

Class song though
...and I'm sorry Mr Jones, it's time...

Finally heard this!  Beautiful and lovely.

I could be wrong, but I know a lot of times that the percussive sound is made by him sort of simultaneously shoving/hitting a pedal.

I was trying to work out what it was too. It sounds to me like when he stomps the pedal while playing, but then he's also using sustain? Maybe he's stomping with his left foot. As a drummer, (and general genius) he no doubt has the coordination.

I always assumed that he was getting older and his voice was fading.. sad to think.  :-\

Sorry to be a nag but the first link jumps like hell & the second link no longer works. Anyone fancy (re)posting a smooth set? The worse thing is that it sounds like a must have... but the jumping is really annoying
Even a torrent/Newsgroup post would be appreciated...
Thanks a lot & peace y'all  \m/
