[MIDI] Ben Folds Live - Best Imitation of Myself
« on: October 04, 2005, 08:04:13 AM »
Hi,
I reckon this is pretty much note perfect.
Unfortunately there is no 'slam your foot into the sustain pedal' midi sound, so ive omitted it :)

I'll leave it for someone else to pdf it, coz I haven't got a clue about making nice looking score.

I think I can make this into sheet music using my sheet music software, but I don't think I can make it a PDF... anyone else?

Thanks for taking the time to make that MIDI! Sounds great!

yeh nice job. i would never perform it like this though. i think the song works much better with lots of flourishes and embellishments.

If you've got full Adobe Acrobat installed you can usually print as a pdf from most programs.

It's just 2 tracks, left and right hands. It might be splitting it because notes are off the staff(stave?).
I bought *cough* Finale2006 and imported it, there was an option to stop it splitting the tracks.
Dunno anything about nwc tho.

that was it - thanx a lot. in noteworthy you can adjust the 'maximum notes per staff' value (or something to that effect). just doubled it and got this (sorry, it was the eval version i used)...

kewl. glad you got it sorted.

could do with the vocal melody and lyrics adding, that would help space it out and make it more readable.
i'll leave that for you to sort out, unless you don't wanna of course :)

we need more people transcribing, hal leonard suck ass.  >:(
