"The people have spoken!"

IT'S A DOUBLE PAGE SPREAD! Hell yeah! Titled "Little Britain vs. Big Ben" with the header "yeah, but, no, but, really, but leave off! Comedy superstar Matt Lucas chats to his piano-tinkling indie idol Ben Folds".

There's a kick ass pic of Ben and Matt in Ben together (mmmmm) and questions about Shatner, Bitches Aint Shit, influences etc etc. NME, all is forgiven.

HAHA! Ok, got a little ahead of myself there - what I should have said was 'Matt and Ben in bed together' which isn't, let's face it, a whole lot better... Wink

Well, I think NME put all their material on their website www.nme.co.uk, but this article isn't there now, so maybe it'll go up when the next issue comes out next week.  That would make sense.  I'm just guessing though.

And I do pity you greatly for being American.  It must be crap in every sense imaginable.

Great to read and another great example of Ben's gradual building of popularity (esp since so many people love Lucas that he's a household name). Also, I'm surprised that Little Britain in so popular in the US...though I hear it is.

I wonder when this interview was done, certainly they met at the Hammersmith gig but I can confirm that they didn't go home together that night so...

Aw, you all beat me to it.  I wanted to started this thread so I could title it 'NME remembers who Ben Folds is'.

It'll be because of Matt Lucas rather than Ben that they ran it, but at least they did.

Yay!  Thanks mmcaw!

It's not all bad being American (at least if one has travelled and knows a little bit about the world) ... it's just that the people in charge of our gov't suck ... I know you brits can relate to that!! Wink
