I'm gonna download that 'last ever' gig. Quick question, did the band know or make known that it was their last show?

it wasn't their last show ever - there were two more shows in japan after this one, but this show was their last show in the united states. and (i believe) the last recorded live show, unless something from the japanese summersonic festival shows up. there were some chattery rumors going around that it was indeed going to be their last US show, but nothing was said officially.

i think you can download the chapel hill show at the traders den - their forum doesn't seem to have registration restrictions. dimeadozen (the site that hosts the boulder torrent) doesn't have an open membership and won't let people register all the time, you just have to check back frequently to see if any new memberships have opened up. it took me about a week to get my account there.
