Found this on the website of a German Music mail-order:

What do you think...

My first reaction is I WANT THIS. Then I say woah, woah, I don't buy CDs anymore. I own all the records on vinyl anyways, plus spotify is a thing now.

I don't like how they exclude Lonely Avenue and So There. They are Ben solo albums, just with a hint of collaboration.

But I REALLY want to read the book.

We were talking about this on the Twitter when Makiko brought it up. It doesn't look to be coming stateside. And there doesn't look to be enough new material to rationalize the purchase (plus I already own everything on CD AND Vinyl... that's accessible. I def do not have a Jackson Cannery 7").

mel (1:10:14 AM): love ben folds or burn!

The release date has been pushed back to the end of July, for those interested.

The box set arrived today, and I gotta say, it's pretty neat. There's an extensive interview with Ben that has some fun new snippets, and there's a lot of bonus materials packaged in with most of the albums (for example, all the b-sides released during the RtS era are included as a bonus disk with RtS).

The box is larger than I thought it would be but creates a nice "time capsule" presentation. I do wish it went past 2012 and included everything released up through now, but since this is clearly a Sony cash grab I doubt they wanted to license the newer material.
