Hey guys, great gig in glasgow last night.  didnt note down the set list but the main ones from the previous nights were there in a similar order.

But there were some kinda rare ones in there.
Songs of Love
Still Fighting It
Bitches Aint Shit
Sentimental Guy

SOLO
Selfless Cold and Composed
One Down
Fred Jones
Gracie

Gone was a personal highlight.

His voice for a while sounded like its on helium and the piano was pretty crap but still loads of energy and great gig.

Yea, don't know what was up with the sound, he did sound really high pitched for at least the first half of the gig, although that seemed to settle down when he did the solo section. The piano was also off tune, or not mic'd up properly.

Fabulous gig though, loads of energy indeed. Slightly disappointed there was no OAD at the end, as he finished with Kate and Army, that would have just been the icing on the cake.

Did get to meet him afterwards for a photo, autograph and a brief chat. Nice, down to earth guy.

Great show. Ben did a lot of fairly rare songs and Kate Miller-Heidke was excellent. Sadly no OAD or Zak and Sara though and the sound was pretty awful. The energy made up for it though and Ben's voice sounded pretty strong.

Setlist (not sure about RTB's position):

Levi Johnston's Blues
Doc Pomus
Gone
Belinda
Sleazy
You To Thank
Cologne
Saskia Hamilton
Bastard
Rock This Bitch (Water Bottle)
Still Fighting It
---
Songs Of Love
From Above
You Don't Know Me
---
Effington
Landed
---
Fred Jones Part 2
Gracie
Selfless, Cold and Composed
One Down
---
Sentimental Guy
Annie Waits
Hiroshima
Bitch Went Nutz
Bitches Ain't Shit
---
Kate
Army
So why you gotta act like you know when you don't know
It's OK if you don't know everything

One Down?  Nice.

Great night.

Gareth, I think the RTB/Ice Valley (or whatever it was) jam was somewhere near the beginning, maybe 4 or 5 songs in.

Lots of songs I hadn't heard live before, with Levi and Belinda my current favourites of the Hornby ones.  (Pomus being the least exciting - I mean, why choose to play this over, say, Your Dogs or Claire's Ninth?).  Solo set was sweet.  Bitches was a slightly disappointing encore - it was funny the first time they did it, but they've played it every show I've seen - but more than made up for by the rocking encore.

The Glasgow gig was great and a number of changes to the set list played at Hammersmith in London, I had never heard One Down or Selfless played live before !!

I also enjoyed the impromto version of Kansas' Carry On Wayward Son that Ben sung and played on his synth.

Come back soon Ben.
