I came to post the set list, but alas, 'tis done. I'll just say, instead, that "I was there, too!"

(Hi Andy!)

HA!  First greyseal post since October 1, 2008.

And she's still in the top ten.  Hope y'all enjoyed the show.  Did you hang around afterwards to talk to the band or did you have to head home?

Very cool pictures. Not sure how you got around to so many different angles, but well done.

I thought they sounded great!  Too bad that a full minute or more was cut from Erase Me, but that's the way it is with TV these days.. Fit that 5+ minute song into a nice and tidy 4 minutes.

I thought they sounded WAY better than when on Colbert Report.  Liked that they did Erase Me.  Still surprised they are not doing the title track--either on TV or in the last half of the recent leg of the tour.

News / Re: Ben Folds Five get interviewed and fraggle-ized @ Comic-Con

Also, why did they come with only two microphones for the band. Kinda awkward with Ben holding the microphone for Darren....

Probably because some know nothing producer thought that 2 mics would work fine for a five person interview, not realizing there are only 3 in the Five.

Just came across this very good review of the Houston show:

And hahaha to the comment about we could've heard OAD but for the improv'd happy birthday song to Tammy.

Cool pic and story.

Any chance of a set list?

Can anyone confirm what Darren is doing in Magic?  In the days of old he had 2 timpani's, a tambourine and a cymbal that he'd play during the song... what's he playing now? I'm assuming either nothing or tambourine and floor tom...

Sorry I can't.  Sledge blocked a lot of my view of Darren.

Album Board / TSOTLOTM Debuts in Billboard's Top 10

As Ben tweeted late yesterday and proudly mentioned at the Houston show last night, the new album debuted in Billboard's Top 10--marking the highest ranking for any BFF or BF album ever.  Congrats fellas!!

Punctual at the Cary and Dallas shows. KMH comes on right at show start time. Plays 35 min or so. Then BF5 exactly one hour after show time. Then they play for 2 hours.

Thanks.  This turned out to be 100% true and accurate.

GREAT show. But this morning I am feeling every day of my 53 years.  Here it is:

1. Michael Praytor
2. Missing the War
3. Hold That Thought (tour debut?)
4. Jackson Cannery
5. Selfless
6. Erase Me
7. Tammy Birthday song--sung to woman in front row
8. Alice Childress
9. Sky High
10. Landed
11. Magic
13. Do It Anyway
14. Hey--a jazzy improv while they were working on Ben's monitor, very cool
15. Brick
16. Emaline!!
17. Draw a Crowd
18. Philosophy
19. Kate
20. SFTD

21. Underground
22. Army

Good sized crowd although pretty lame enthusiasm.  In the first five rows, my wife and I were the only ones up on Philosophy.  A lot more joined on Kate and there were mostly standers by SFTD.

Hung around and got pix with all three, though for a while we wondered if we were going to have missed Ben since he initially headed straight to the bus.

SO happy to have gotten to see the Five again after 14 years 3 months and 17 days. But who's counting?

How long has KMH been playing?  And at about what time [or how long after the "concert time"] have the boys been taking stage?
