I got my tickets to the Carling Academy Glasgow today.  Picked them up from the box office, only £25 a ticket, no fees or anything.  Looks like a bit of a dive, however its a ben folds gig.  Anyone else heading to glasgow gig?

What is the easiest way to record the gig from an audio point of view.  I'd like a good quality recording machine but doesnt cost to much.  Any ideas what i should get?

At last, i saw all the gigs goin up all day and i'm thinking, where is the scottish one?  Then Glasgow.  Definitely getting tickets tomz.

This is my first BF gig and would like to make an audio recording, i was just wondering what the best audio recording thing would be to buy.  Of course if i did make a recording i'd be happy to share it all with y'all :D

General Board / Ben Kweller in MY university union!!!

As you might have guessed from the title of this thread, BK is playing in my uni union (Glasgow Uni QMU).  Its not quite as good as having Ben Folds but should still be an amazing gig.
Yep well, this was just an excuse to make people jealous ;D, hope it worked.

General Board / Ben Folds Radioplay on Jonathan Ross
« on: July 08, 2006, 01:41:48 AM »
Just heard Jesusland on BBC Radio2 (10.35) on the Jonathan Ross show.  Introduced as "the great ben folds", i couldnt agree more.

I recently heard a discussion on Forth FM that mentioned Ben Folds.
Didn't quite get the relevance of it.
But anyhoo.

Hey Guys.  As some of you guys know i got a copy of this a few weeks ago and it's great.  A friend of mine is wanting to get a copy and i have been trying to get another copy. has been completely useless.  But if you want it go to and search for it.  Free Postage and pretty cheap.  It's currently in stock.  I might order mine there.

Apologies of posted already.  I just stumbled across it accidentally.  Quality isn't the best but might be worth something to someone.
I'm assuming from the title that this concert was "Live at Enmore"

I placed my order with Amazon Marketplace with a seller called "the book depository"  (3rd one down priced £7.83)  it only cost me about £10 including postage.  Should be waiting for me at home today or tommorow.
I'll let you know if i recommend them when i receive the book but so far so good.
