Mine just arrived in Australia today. Signed manuscript. What an awesome little bonus!!!

This album is really growing on me every listen. I'd say there's only about 2 tracks that I think are really gimmicky, generally I love it. Massive Hornby fan, have been since High Fidelity, so this is a perfect synergy for my Folds addiction.

Never give up!

I still have not, as promised, gotten around to getting the crappy version I recorded on my phone up here. One day, I promise....!

The LP version doesn't really interest me as I have nothing to play it on, but I will get the deluxe version.

But, I'm from Australia and am debating what to do. It's just that over here you never know what versions the stores will get in, if it will be there on release day and I don't know if I can be bothered paying the extra to get the deluxe version shipped especially not knowing what kind of condition it will end up in by the time it gets to my house...

I'm guessing that I won't be able to hold off and in the next 10 mins I'll order it from the pre-order site, but kick myself when the same version is available on release day from my local music store...

edit: all I can seem to find here is just the CD for pre-order http://www.jbhifionline.com.au/music/pop-rock/lonely-avenue/532877

I've listened to my recording - haven't gotten if off my phone yet, but you'll have to put up with my distoriting "Whoo's" before and after EVERY song (even I hate me!).... but you'll also hear me remind him of a line he forgot in DCYP :)

Fred Jones pt 3 was an impro song cause some douchebag requested "Mr Jones Part 3" just like the first douchebag (who was sitting in front of me) requested "The Lucky One"...

For me the highlights were Magic and  - he was just so pumped for it (that he was only going to play 1 verse/chorus, but obviously was really loving it and played almost right through it!) BoWCCL, Underground and OAD.

Was dissapointed how Bitches Aint Shit came into the setlist  just being yelled out by loudmouth douchebags who only know the song from youtube...

I think I have overused the word douchebag too many times :D Again, will try and get my recording to you all soon.

Was awesome!!!! Didn't hear a lot of what I wanted to hear, but not surprising considering the amount of paper/requests that were on the stage.

I got a recording of it - but it's shit quality off phone, and I'll have to re-record it through audacity.

Off the top of my head, set list:

The Luckiest
Smoke
Battle of Who Could Care Less
Rockin' The Suburbs
Underground
Don't Change Your Plans
Tiny Dancer
Such Great Heights
Magic
Rock This Bitch (F# Major)
Kylie From Connecticut
Cigarette
Fred Jones pt. 2
Fred Jones Pt. 3
Hiroshima (Japanese version) - till 2nd Verse
Emaline (cut down)
Bitches Ain't Shit
Landed
Not The Same

Encore:
One Angry Dwarf

Had my list in another thread. But here u go again!

Still, Emaline, Missing the War, Selfless, Cold, & Composed, Trusted, Jackson Cannery, Carrying Cathy, Where's Summer B.?, Air, Fair, Battle of Who Could Care Less, Alice Childress, Time, Magic, Trusted, Uncle Walter, Cologne, Eddie Walker, Smoke, Underground, Steven's Last Night in Town, OAD...

Really not interested in hearing "Make Me Mommy". I'm almost equating it to asking him to play "Satan is My Master" or possibly even *gasp* "Rock This Bitch"!
