From Sweden: Grattis på Födelsedag!
You all know how influential Ben has been in my life. I was a big classical music nut in my teens (yeah, I was quite the popular kid) until I heard "Underground" which inspired me to start playing piano, transcribe music, and get into the whole indie thing. "The whole indie thing" lead me to such things as my radio show, performing music meant I met my wife (in a band), and my combined love of music/tech got me my job. Perhaps if I hadn't heard "Underground" on the radio that day I wouldn't be here. I certainly wouldn't be typing on a red message board which *still* takes money from my wallet each and every month.
Happy Birthday Ben. Can't think of a better way to celebrate than the highly anticipated return of the bands that - for many of us - opened our eyes to a different form of music. Can't wait for the download!

Really digging this sound... I'm sl glad it didn't get overmastered.

QuoteHe’s confident about at least one more future career path: composer/lyricist of a Broadway musical. “I will do a musical one day,” Folds admits.
Am I the only one who finds that to be exciting?
Thanks for the link!

I do particularly like the strings on PW
Here are my thoughts concerning 'Picture Window' as of today after a number of listens while driving around town…etc…. Currently I slightly favor the stripped down demo version with the moving French horn
