General Board / Re: The Supreme Topic of Bootlegs

I was at the Brussels show and believe it was being recorded for local radio broadcast. I remember Ben making reference to things happening on stage (think it was when the drums were coming out during Stevens Last Night in Town) and how it wouldn't make sense on the radio without seeing it.  Never found it online though.

I've got a recording on my phone but havent got round to listening or editing. (it was my fourth Ben show that month!)

Good show though, I was at the soundcheck and requested Amelia Bright (great effort by Ben), Sports and Wine, Redneck Past, Julianne and Morgan Davis.

thought it might be useful to put a link to last nights concert as it went live on the radio in Ireland and can be listened again on the link below:

I've not listened to it all, but seems pretty good.
Hope the link is useful to someone

Tour Board / Re: Westbury, NY [[REVIEW]] - June 23

Stunning set list, thanks for the review!

Don't be embarrassed, i didnt know it really until about a month ago.  It really is one of my new favourites.  When you think that Darren wrote it and also one of my other favourites (magic) he really is a talent.  Thanks for putting together the chords.  I've moved recently and still without my piano, so will have to hunt one down and give it a go.  Much appreciated :)

It's not got the appeal of self titled or WAEA for me which I was maybe hoping for.  Some of it i'm finding it difficult to get into.  Probably just take a few listens before I get just how fantastic it is.  Personally Draw A Crowd is near the top for me, im liking the messner feel of it with its opening, kinda like redneck past.

Uncle Walter! that is amazing. Hope he keeps that in the set until he gets back round to Scotland.  One of his best songs imo.

Hey guys, great gig in glasgow last night.  didnt note down the set list but the main ones from the previous nights were there in a similar order.

But there were some kinda rare ones in there.
Songs of Love
Still Fighting It
Bitches Aint Shit
Sentimental Guy

Selfless Cold and Composed
One Down
Fred Jones

Gone was a personal highlight.

His voice for a while sounded like its on helium and the piano was pretty crap but still loads of energy and great gig.

Think myspace did record the encore professionally Doug, its just not available anywhere.  Youtube has the entire encore as filmed from a phone, and its not actually as horrific as that may sound.  you can hear it pretty well. visually its quite poor.  Im starting to doubt this will ever be released on dvd now.  Jackson Cannery was gonna be released on some other dvd a while back but dont think it made the cut.
