General Board / Re: Fan Club memberships renewals almost due.

What's these postcards? I havent had/heard of them. I'm still not sure if to re-sign up. The gifts were ok in my view (signed pic, paste mag, and signed Live at the Tower)

That said I was quite dissapointed that as a fan club member there was not an early shout out about the UK tour. I heard nothing via email until they were already on sale. In fact it was my mate who had Ben Folds automatically on his watch list on ticketmaster that told me about the gig.

The US people got presale and a chance to get in early before everyone else, we didnt in the UK, although I'm not sure if we needed to or if that poses any real benifit unless its a seated gig (Boo hiss)

Ace, I Liked Clem in '05 so will enjoy his few songs again - Hope it is the whole band with him and not just Eef.

Fingers crossed Jared and Linsey will be there, but I guess we wont know for sure until the Dublin gig....unless someone ping's Ben when they seem him around before then with the question.

Cheers for the info

Tour Board / Tour info Anyone?

Hi guys, I am looking forward to seeing Ben in Manchester on the 27th.  Although I dont actually know if Ben will be perfoming a solo set of if Jared and Linsey will be there to mix it up for a few songs.

Does anyone know what the drill is going to be? My tickets say ben folds and special guest, but special could be the support act (hope its not the Maccabees again....though I think they have gone onto bigger things)

Speaking of which a good support act would be a nice thing. I enjoyed seeing Rufus Wainwright being supported by the then unheard of "guillemots "

Apologies for my absense. I am still busy with Uni work. and as for the torrent I was the only seed so it would only download when I was at my computer, I had it up for a while but no one ever downloaded from it, in fairness it was nothing too special/professional.

As for the recording, I do have a partial recording (maybe half the gig or two thirds). it was my first ever recording and unfortunatly I did not know at the time that my recording device will only record to a file lenght of 2GB (this may be a file system thing as .AVI videos have a maximum size of 2GB too on generic PC's etc). Becuase I did not want to get sprung doing an illegal recording I set it off before getting into the venue. So its only half Ben, and all of the maccabees :-(

The recording is very quiet as my recording device does not provide line in power, but when amped up it sound resonable. However at the moment it is being able to commit the time to tweak this audio (also my first time) crop it up and upload it somewhere, I simply dont have the time, thought it will be done some time, because of course I want it for my own collection.
