That would be pretty sweet

Also I meant to add this but forgot

At the close of John Mayer's setlist he played a cover of song for the dumped.  Something he said before he played it made me think it was the first time he had done it.  Anyway I didn't really care for it.  He kind of made song for the dumped sound like Your Body Is a Wonderland.  That's not really what it is supposed to sound like.

I'm only 16.  Seen Ben three times though.

I enjoyed the show last saturday, I just felt like it wasn't the right venue to get the full experience.

Setlist:
Gone
Photo ops
Dr. Pyser
Army
All U Can Eat
Jesusland
Still Fighting It
Kate
Bastard
Brick
Underground
Landed
One Angry Dwarf
Not The Same
Such Great Heights

Overall a pretty good setlist looking back.  It would've been cheapened by a performance of Bitches Ain't Shit.  I feel like two covers is too many for a setlist of this size.  I don't think I saw any songs that I hadn't seen before live.  I'm pretty sure he played Brick at Bloomington last year.  The highlights for me were Dr. Pyser and Underground.  If I could've added a song it would've been You to Thank.  Also,  Ben said that this was an emotional show for him because it was his father's birthday or something.  Then he said that his father was the lead singer of .38 Special.  In the middle of the show a man came out in a wheelchair and Ben introduced him as his father.  I was 99% sure that Ben's father was some sort of construction supervisor, and I told my friends that Ben was lying.  This happen at any other shows?

I saw Ben and John the night before in Indy.  I'll post a setlist if someone requests one in a response to this post.

Ben didn't play bitches even once when I saw him.  I really thought he would.  But I'm not really upset -- I've already heard it live twice.

I really disliked all the other versions of "Chicago" that were released on The Avalanche.
Andrew Bird reuses a lot of his own songs by adding layers of music on top of them.
He's done it with Skin and I and there are others if I bothered to look.

I do like the addition of horns in the newer version being a saxophone player myself

Maybe its radio-friendliness is the reason I dislike it
I can't really put my finger on it
I also dislike the way the lyrics were written
The cop seems to love his job but also hate it
I'm pretty sure if I were a cop I would just hate my job
Anyway you all will probably slam me for posting this

I really can't stand the bff song Julianne
Whenever it comes up on shuffle I immediately skip
I don't really know why, it just sounds like the Ben Folds that I know had nothing to do with writing that song

My least favorite ben song is Rent A Cop

After seeing Ben solo again I am barely excited for the Folds/Mayer concert.

My feeling are that no matter how long Ben's set is it will be too short.

Also the venues will make the concert much too impersonal.

Yeah I'm sure he plays some things that no one requests and arent on the original setlist.

I'm wondering if he was planning on playing rock this bitch or he just did it because people were yelling it.

14
Yeah it would be interesting
I inferred that chopsticks, morgan davis, and one down probably weren't planned because they were all audience requests.

15
Yeah thats cool
Did you end up getting a set list from Jared or Sam?
