I am hoping that non-fan-clubbers can buy this. So that I can buy it, and remix to my heart's content.

I wouldn't have any problem with Katy Perry if it weren't for all the misoginy and homophobia.

But as is...

I regret nothing, by the by.

What I did was not big or clever, but I enjoyed it.

I think people who think this is a whole album of "Rent a Cop" are perhaps forgetting tha serious does not equal intelligent.

Rent a Cop is a comedy charachter sketch. Bitch Went Nuts is a deconstruction of the mindset of the average mildly misogynistic male.

They're both funny songs, but if you're going to tell me Bitch Went Nuts is any less "crafted" than Kylie then I think You Are Silly

Okay, people can hate me for this...

I read some quotes and snippets of this forum post a few months ago and was not impressed.

Read the full post just now since I wanted to support danwards5150.

So Dan, why did you make such a bad post??? I can see putting yourself out there and failing but it seems so fake and ingenuine to me. Were you pressured to put out a generic "NEW ABLUM HATE" post and just put leftover non-criticisms out??? Really, it's bad and vacant of any real thought -- I don't care what editing/punctuation you give us, this post is not worth ever reading agan.

I've read your posts many times over the past decade but I'm out for this thread. The words are just bad.

Anyone who doesn't agree can flame me all you want, but this is the worst post with danwards5150's name on it ever!!!!!

Really dissapointed. I get the feeling Dan wants to do something else in terms of forum posts and is just filling the new-post-hate quota.

Dan, I urge you to do what you want, because if this is the post you wanted to make, I'm sorry. You can do better.

Songs for Silverman.

For "Prison Food" alone, really.

Hornby's one of my favourite authors too.

And the High Fidelity movie is fantastic but not quite as good as the book.

John Cusack is totally awesome. He might even turn me gay he's so awesome. But not quite. But maybe. I mean...

Hey, gang. I shall see y'all there. I'm that one kind with kinda long hair wearing a white Postal Service t-shirt and blue Barsuk hoodie. Say hi.

And Vics: I was at Leicester too. What a great show eh?

I really hope Ben and Spoon get nomimanted. That'd make the Oscar show at least twelve times more awesome than usual.

Oh godd*mnit. Look, Eef, I really like your band and the solo record is OK. But, you know, I was hoping for someone new and different.

I wish I'd seen him with the Maccabees. They're rather a lot of fun. YES, I LIKE INDIE ROCK, SO SUE ME.

Tour Board / Dorky Question: Meeting Ben after Gigs
« on: November 30, 2006, 02:35:47 PM »
So, it seems a number of you have met/taken photos with/got stuff signed by Ben after gigs.

Me and a friend were planning on maybe doing this when we see him in January.

What's the protocol exactly? How does one go about such a thing? Anybody else going to Wolverhampton who could just hold up a big sign and we could follow?

Tour Board / Re: Which U.K. gig and do you have your tickets???
« on: November 28, 2006, 01:29:57 PM »
I am going to Wolverhampton! My second ever Ben gig.

And yes, I have my RIDICULOUS printed off full A4 style ticket. *shakes head*

Any one know who's supporting yet?
