yeah where on earth are you getting the idea that we (the .org) believed the album was real? we WANT ben's new album to be good, that's what i think people are misunderstanding here. we're not looking for cheap fodder to further dissect, we actually just want this artist who has written material that most of us love dearly to make music that we enjoy again. silverman took a lot of flack, and that's where all the animosity really comes from. that and the fact that ben is trying way too hard to be funny lately, whereas he was much more charming before when he wasn't trying so damned hard.
and i have to say that i really enjoy hiroshima, cologne (though the lyrics are very iffy), you don't know me (a LOT), and even way to normal. which are the most legitimate tracks on there, perhaps excluding wtn. so things look good.
