Bonnaroo 2014

While Bonnaroo (music festival extraordinare in Manchester, TN) has included Ben in many of their previous line ups, and specifically this year he played alongside The Flaming Lips for the line up announcement party.... he wasn't included on the actual line up for 2014, much to many people's surprises. We speculated that it was due to the concerto and not having a full band at the time (and apparently not a one-off BF5 gig?).... but today, May 7, Bonnaroo announced their Superjam lineup, and look who's there!

I found mp3s of the Super Jam taken from the webcast: here.  Ben took lead on Joe c*cker's Space Captain  though I'm not sure if he played on any other tracks.

He also joined Elton John for Grey Seal (which he played at the Elton John benefit a few years ago), though I've yet to see audio from that pop up yet.  Let me know if anyone finds it!

Yeah…I've been trawling for that elusive footage/audio of Ben and Elton…sigh. Would make my year! But it will be somewhere, got to be, that's big fry. Anyway.

These audio clips are AWESOME! thank you Fongolia! Love that he's rocking an organ sorta sound - it's a bit Billy Preston. Obviously Ben's amazing at it, he's a bally hero. As for further spots on the Superjam, found this earlier, at the Jam, having a tete-a-tete with the piano player behind him, cute.
