I got a RED while I was on vacation back home at my mom's. THEN I left it in Wisconsin. WHOOPS.

True. But if I'm gonna get it, I want the color variant. Lol.

That way it's even more different than my 1999 one

Oh shit, I'm going to have to go get that. My 99 pressing, I bought used (didn't become a fan till 05), and doesn't sound great - previous owner clearly played the shit out of Army... and that's about it.

WELP my normal go to store doesn't have the red variant. Time to hunt.

OH DAMN, if the songs are even slightly different, I might have to splurge, even though I have the original pressings.

Least he could do with it is leak it if he's not planning on using it. I can't believe So There has been out for a year and a half already

No, it was recorded at the same time/well about/ as So There. We were discussing it because it was thought as a record that could/would postpone the Five doing anything more together.

update on that Ireland record! asked Ben about it at an AMAA before his show in Milwaukee his paraphrased answer was, "We ordered too much jameson and couldn't really focus so it's not really a record and idk if i'll ever do anything with it"

Omg, that is hilarious.

3.5 is nothing!!! I thought about the 12.5 hour drive it would be for me, until reason, unfortunately, won out.

They said something in the past about it being open when the timing works out for everyone. Darren released a record as Hotel Lights in April, and is touring with another indie rock band currently. Folds has eluded to more work with yMusic, so who knows?! There's also apparently a whole next record "ready" that has Ryan and Sam on it, that they recorded pre-So There (and Phone in a Pool was stolen off of).

soooooooo, your guess is as good as mine.

So I was super wrong. All my guesses were on That Would Be Enough (or other Eliza tracks).

Thrilled that Regina is basically Burr and Ben is Hamilton on Dear Theodosia. The song itself is getting great reactions, as is the whole Mixtape. Also loving the love Lin is throwing Ben's way.

I may be being a snob (okay, am), but I was a bit bummed when the bonus tracks from the 10" ended up on Spotify the next week. I've got to remind myself that it was limited to 2,000 in its run. Hope everyone picked up a copy. A burbian (though through social media only, I think) took the photo on the cover, so I'm feeling all sorts of proud about it.

General Board / Re: What Song Did You Write in Your Paper Airplane?

I neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeed to go to a Paper Airplane show. Closest one has come to me is 8.5 hours. :'(

Also my preplanned airplanes include:
- Sports & Wine
- Password (though that'd be hard to pull off, but whatever)
- Away When You Were Here
- On Being Frank
- House
- Bruised

These are selected because they are the studio proper album tracks I've never seen.

I'd love to see other things like:
- Kalamazoo
- Adelaide
- Rent-a-Cop
- Make Me Mommy
- Girl

Because, again, we have studio recordings, but I've never seen them live. Everything else is checked off my list.
