I was there, me and Dean(o) were huddled around a laptop. I got kicked out to start with but got in eventually. It did seem a bit hectic! and as for the admin...but yes fun times, looking forward to burbs chat! Got the impression there were a few of us in there!

Did anyone ask Ben about the BFF reunion DVD?   :-\

I've lost all hope that I'll ever hold this in my hands.  I know we can see it on this site but I want those all important encores!

If Myspace want to trade, I'll give them back the Myspace gig from a couple of years back.   ;)

I don't know why Sony (or Ben) had changed his mind at the last moment, and didn't include reunion footage in "Best of..." DVD too.


I'm just back from Ben Kweller show in Tokyo. After the show, I met Ben Kweller and told him that what Mr. Folds said about "The Bens" in chat. Kweller was excited and told me that he wants to do "The Bens" again.

Nice work Ben!  I see you're back to almost no caps - that made me smile.  Assuming you were the one typing (let's face it folks...why wouldn't you get a subordinate to do it for you it you could?).

Burbian chat would be fab but I am technologically impaired when it comes to webcam.  IE: I don't have one.

No word on Oz tour I see. Sigh.

I was really annoyed by the chat.  I did my part and submitted a question like the good little rule-follower I am and of course it never got asked.   :'(

I would LIKE to think it was a fine question but with all the "What does Emaline mean?" and "Do you like to play Pacman" I feel like I got freaking blocked.  I'm really rather bitter... and I am not really sure why.  My question was all about Ben's lyrics-- I wanted to know (from his perspective) if there was ever a lyric he wrote he particularly adored--like was impressed by his own genius.  I thought that would have been interesting, but alas, it was not meant to be.


I assume a Suburbs chat would have a much higher level of discourse than "i luv u ben!" and stuff like that.  You seem to be a more discerning crowd than the fanclub.  :P
