** The Bens Melbourne Show Available **

OK, at the moment the Bens bootlegs seem to be coming thick and fast! The latest edition is a recording of the Bens show in Melbourne at the Palais on the 24th of March. The show is awesome quality, and it certainly well worth the download. Once again, Rich from www.the-bens.net is helping me out with the hosting (Thanks Rich!), and the show was recorded by Jason W!

You can download it in the usual place. Go to www.the-bens.com and click on the media section. Then click on the link to the show! Just a quick note to also mention that the Perth, Brisbane and Gold Coast shows are all on the way too! :-)

Yeah, I must say I have noticed some screwy parts to it... what gives? Is it just the recording?

Nah, I think it is the dodgy encoding that my software does! I'd re-encode it all but it means uploading it again (Which is not much fun on dial-up!). I've found that Windows media player is the worst for playing it though. For best results use Winamp.

I had trouble when trying to play it straight on the web. But when I dl'ed it to my HD and stuck it into iTunes, it played perfectly. So mac users shouldn't worry I guess. :)

To encode it I used MusicMatch jukebox. I'm uploading a new version of the show right now. It should be online in about 7 hours or so. I'll post a quick note on the front page of the-bens.com when it's completely reuploaded! :-)
