I kind of find it really hard to believe that a group of people could literally record an album and forget about it. Maybe I can see "too eager to move on to ever do anything with it." I can even see "memories too painful to re-live." Heck, I'll even buy "thought we lost it." But FORGOT? Hell no. Unless these are songs that literally no one's ever heard before, then haven't all three of them played at least some of them live at least once or twice? How do you play Amelia Bright and not be like, "Hey, didn't I participate in a studio recording of this one time? Whatever happened to that?"

Well yeah, that's part of it. I listen to SO many other Ben Folds songs with my kids, so it's funny that she would take offense to this one. But the other thing is that the reason she is my ex-wife is that she started cheating with her personal trainer, I found out everything, and now she brings this douche around my kids alllll the time (and did so while we were married, by the way). So, it's always interesting to learn what she does and doesn't feel is appropriate for our boys to be exposed to. Good times ..  

Wow, it's like she's a Ben Folds song character.

not to be a negative nancy, but i wouldn't petition for a tour.  i'd petition for a new album.  that's what ben said he wanted, and it would be better.  you'd be happier in 5 years knowing you had a new bff album, then if you had seem them on tour.

I agree with this, because I have a feeling new album=new tour.

Yeeees.... But Ben has said they don't get along enough to do a full tour. We don't want a tour. We want ONE show. Lets be realistic people.

This community needs to agree on what Ben said about whether or not he gets along with the guys. I'm hearing very mixed signals on this.

All in all, I think Nick Hornby's writing style fits well with Folds music, and I'm really digging this album.

I've been feeling pretty much the opposite since the early leaks. Ben's music is what I'll turn LA on for, not Hornby's lyrics.

Well...yeah. I mean, it's awful. It makes a pretty good song unlistenable for me.
