*Not my videos.

It was Butler’s homecoming show at their theatre on campus which was really cool.  I was looking forward to seeing the band back together to play the new songs (especially Doc Pomus and Claire’s 9th), so when I figured out this was a solo act I was slightly disappointed.    However I got over it really quick with such a great setlist.  This was the first time I’ve seen Ben play Practical Amanda, and it’s the first time I remember thinking, “Ben’s voice sounds really good” at a concert, not that I really think it’s ever bad, it just sounded really fine-tuned for that ballad.  Ben set up Morgan Davis by saying that he has been working on a musical for a couple years now, he said he’ll finish it someday.  I had heard/read about that rumor before, but this was the first time I heard it out of Ben’s mouth.  Overall a great show, next time I hope to see a band.  Also, there was some pretty sweet new merch.

PSA:  If Ben asks for a volunteer to sing Bitches Ain’t Shit, offer your services only if you have confident knowledge of the lyrics.

Based on this set list and the review, sounds like a good show! Though I expected to see a few more LA songs...maybe that's just because it was a solo show?

I think he'll play more Lonely Avenue songs at non-college shows. I think he knows that the show was free/really cheap for Butler students and most of them might have only really heard of Bitches and and certainly don't know the new album

Your Emaline link leads to Levi Johnston's Blues.  In my opinion kind of a weak first half setlist but definitely a good second half of the show.  Would've loved to have seen Smoke, Emaline, Kate, and Morgan Davis.

Sorry about that.  Emaline can be found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KuEE12Mqk7I.  The video starts with the end of RTB.
