Here are the only 4 songs that I finished from BFL. These are just the midis because I haven't had the time to make them pretty and turn them into pdfs, but I'm sure you'll be able to figure out how to make some sheet music from them.

Have fun!
Jake. The famous Australian stunt musician.

OMG!! These are amazing!  Jake, you're a pure genius.  Now I'm going to have to figure out how to convert MIDI to score sheets.

Off to check the rest of your transcriptions.

Great work - keep it up.

If anyone is having problems with turning Jake's midi files to transcriptions - go to:
www.mrjoll.plus.com/steven/BFF_stuff/
and find what you need.  And don't thank me, thank Jake - I'm just helping to pass on his work (without him knowing, yet :P).

Also, it might have my name as 'Auther' on the file properties, but I AM NOT - damn pdf-maker program is registered to my name.  Apologies to Jake - I'm not taking anything away from him.  Luckily, his name is still on the first pages of the pdfs.

Respect his work, etc. etc.

Jake, haven't listened to them yet (at work), but just the fact that you did Silver Street is beyond awesome, been playing it for a while now, doesn't sound too brilliant, now I can compare. Thanks a lot!

geez corey, never happy are we?
jake's transcriptions are most likely the best ben folds transcriptions you'll ever get of his songs, so i'd just gladly take it as long as it's free.... just a thought

Well, I can't add anything really, think the other posts cover it pretty good,  these transcriptions are great!! Thanks alot Jake!!  I always thought my own version of OAD sounded a bit lame, but I never took time to improve it. But with the sheets mr steve posted I don't even have to sit down five minutes!

Jake,

Kudos to your good ears. These tabs are unbelievable.

If there's anything I can do to move the live versions of Philosophy, The Last Polka, Lullabye, and Gracie Girl to the top of your list of highly accurate transcriptions, let me know.

The NYC DVD from dimeadozen.org rocks. If you could transcribe that live version of Lullabye, I would consider you a God and bow before you.

One other question. Is there a better program than noteworthy composer to play your MIDIs in?

What if you want to print off the song as piano sheet music?

Is noteworthy composer the best program for that?
