General Board / Folds/Five creeping into your real life?

I mean, anyone who knows me outside of these red walls...
But, I mean more along the lines of people who may not be aware of your Foldsian nature. Trying to either introduce you, or show you something 'new' you haven't seen before.

my prof just tried to out do me on Ben Folds knowledge. 8in8 is not hard. DID tell me we're gonna watch Amanda Palmer' TEDTalk in class. AND Because the Origami IN CLASS. PEOPLE. PEOPLE. Folds shit in my classroom. AND I didn't put it here. I patiently await the day I can school people in my knowledge. Hahaaaaaa.

He even said it in front of the whole class. Said - I might show you a video you don't know about.
Always wrong. Ha. I am a bit of an encyclopedia, aren't I? I am always up for new things, but 8in8 is something we here at theburbs (which was included in my homework) reported on. Yay. Go team.

Brick (after which Ben tells us that they sang the song 'wrong' to be a hit in the 90s. and proceeds to sing a part of the song ala Pearl Jam/Eddie Vedder. Quite funny. And very ridiculous)

Good show. Got a veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery short quick hello with Darren and Robert. Also saw Ben pop in during Guster's set (who were also awesome, duh) to take a picture or two - or like thirty. Alicia was also in attendance this evening.

The man was my gateway into my indie music life. Which is a huge part of who I am, and what I do…. and I’ve made some of my absolute best friends because of our mutual Folds appreciation. Y'all here on the burbs mean a lot to me, if we know each other well or not. It's crazy anytime someone knows me in public because of the two words Chudley Cannons. (It is almost scary. Met a kid at a Dr Dog concert who then knew who I was though his brother because of this place). AND. Well. Let's keep doing what we're doing in honor of the man who made it all. (Plus Darren and Robert, of course.)
