Got its Japanese Edition. Sony Music Japan's website still says it includes Ben's exclusive message for Japanese fans, but there's no message :P

Wow - that's a completely different track ordering! Usually the Japanese editions just have a couple of extra tracks and an extra booklet insert or something!

I guess you guys don't need the CD1 stuff as you already got the "Ben Folds File" CD/DVD.

The only thing of note on the Ben Folds File CD/DVD was the inclusion of Video Killed the Radio Star, which was previously unreleased. Disc one of the Retrospective at least has some alternate cuts on it.

I had never heard of him, but he was in Milwaukee a week ago and I took a look. How have I not heard of this guy before?!?!

Just watched this finally, as its streaming on NetFlix finally.

Definitely worth a watch, even if you hate ballet. There's enough Ben Folds studio footage, and backstory with Shatner that was actually interesting and funny. Plus you can just close your eyes and listen to the songs.

I give it 4 Hook 'Em Horns  \m/ \m/ \m/ \m/

I disagree on amelia bright. you have to remember it was no where near album ready. Then again. I'm an Amelia Bright fanatic.

I sent in WTN Chicago photos. But I didn't get an email asking me to use anything.

I sent a link to my photobucket. Problem is, we all had so many of the same photos, and they're too small to really make out who took 'em.

God. I would pay for Live at the Vic. Such greatness in three nights. Such variety. Such fun!

As would I.

Ditto to the nth degree.

I would sell one of my children for just the recording of Jeep Song.

I have a question I should probably ask Ben. Who's idea, or who's POSTER more directly, is that on the back of the liner book? I know I sent in mine, and I've heard of a few other that have that old poster. Just curious what the process was that got it included.
Oh, and who's Chicago WTN pics are those in the book?

ANYWHO, back to the album that I finally got on Monday and listened to on my trip to school in IL yesterday and today.... I love it. Glad to see some reunion stuff on the 2nd disc. CAN WE HAVE THE REST NOW PLEASE????
I honestly forgot how wonderful Wandering is, the extended beginning to Still Fighting it sounds like That's Me Trying off the Shatner record, and I still like Darren and Robert's versions of the songs better, but Stumbin' Home Winter Blues ALMOST excuses how bored Ben sounds on Amelia Bright. I know we were all begging for it, but since it was not the studio version we thought it was.... it should have stayed in the vault.

Besides the beginning and the lack of Shatner, its the same song. Shame, I would have loved to hear Ben's vocals a little more. This sounds like what they played for Shatner to speak over, recorded it, and stuck it on FOP.

Chris - few good things last. I appreciated my connection while I had it. Got me to the BF5 reunion. (well that was Darren, but that email from Vector was/is magical.)

Funny thing is.... it all has to do with Alan/CEC. Maybe I shouldn't have posted that pic of Ben signing that thong oh so many years ago.  ;D

HOORAY, Prince Charming with Sledge at the helm!!! Labeled as a BF track, and not BFF, but who cares, its awesome! Can't wait to hear a better version of Amelia Bright than the clip Amazon has when the CDs get here.....

Looks like shit on Chrome, but since I am apparently no longer involved in it (I wasn't even told it was going live, much less given a preview like last time) I could give a shit, really.
Yeah, I'm bitter. Oh well. Was fun while it lasted.

"CEC can suck a big fat dick."  \m/

Yeah couldn't finish it. I think I'll live without seeing it all. Rise above, Ben, rise above.

There was some funny stuff at the end with Ben and a large kitchen knife.

That Hoda chick came off as a bitch though. Always cutting Ben off, trying to be a smart ass, and that whole pirate joke thing (if not a set-up) was just DUMB.

Plus it seemed very catered to older people. No offense to the geriatric crowd, but Ben doesn't belong on TV with you. Except to talk about puppies.

My word that was hard to watch.  :-\
