I'll be there DrummerStu!  ;D

First chance to meet the guys - think there is every chance that I will lose my shit and be struck completely dumb. Which will not be cool...

Best thing you can do is think about what you have in common with them as people and chat about that. When I got a chance to talk with him, Darren and I talked about writing and MFA schools, and a bit about Hotel Lights too. If you do it right, you can convince your brain not to freak out, since they're just normal people too.
"Wait, he said 'good things come to those who wait,' but you didn't wait too long" "Keep listening" Kristen, on me and "Bruised"

Normal people do it too...

I know rationally that they're just people, but I just don't want to spunk what might be my only opportunity to meet them by either staring like a demented deer in headlights or asking really odd, rambling questions because my mind goes blank!!!

Should we have some sort of secret signal so we can recognise fellow 'burbians?  :)

I think I am accredited to photograph the launch and am also very conscious that I am going to come across as a blubbering idiot. I'm just going to have to hold back and only take five bags full of goodies for them to sign... I'll have a wife and a ginger two year old with me. Please say hi, it will make me feel loved!

I emailed the guy to find out the prices before I decided whether or not to make the trip down from Glasgow. He said posters start at 250... Which is not bad, but I don't have enough annual leave to make the trip. Gutted.
