Mel did. I'm sure she'll get us a set list. There's a picture of her and Ashton and Sledge on facebook already.

GREAT show. But this morning I am feeling every day of my 53 years.  Here it is:

1. Michael Praytor
2. Missing the War
3. Hold That Thought (tour debut?)
4. Jackson Cannery
5. Selfless
6. Erase Me
7. Tammy Birthday song--sung to woman in front row
8. Alice Childress
9. Sky High
10. Landed
11. Magic
12. BOWCCL
13. Do It Anyway
14. Hey--a jazzy improv while they were working on Ben's monitor, very cool
15. Brick
16. Emaline!!
17. Draw a Crowd
18. Philosophy
19. Kate
20. SFTD

Encore:
21. Underground
22. Army

Good sized crowd although pretty lame enthusiasm.  In the first five rows, my wife and I were the only ones up on Philosophy.  A lot more joined on Kate and there were mostly standers by SFTD.

Hung around and got pix with all three, though for a while we wondered if we were going to have missed Ben since he initially headed straight to the bus.

SO happy to have gotten to see the Five again after 14 years 3 months and 17 days. But who's counting?

Can anyone confirm what Darren is doing in Magic?  In the days of old he had 2 timpani's, a tambourine and a cymbal that he'd play during the song... what's he playing now? I'm assuming either nothing or tambourine and floor tom...

Sorry I can't.  Sledge blocked a lot of my view of Darren.

I'm pretty sure he had all that stuff on "Magic" in Austin. It was hard for me to see (I was right up at the front, but on Ben's side with piano and drums slightly blocking view of Darren), but he had some giant fluffy mallet drumsticks and was playing some unconventional looking drums/ cymbals.

Thanks for posting the setlist. It's taken me about 2 days to get over the jealousy I have that he played "Hold That Thought." I actually shouted out that as a request in Austin, right before they played 'Song for the Dumped'. Ben smiled at me and hesitated a second before launching into 'SFTD'. I had the sense that he heard it, and maybe made a calculation that they didn't have enough time left in the show.. Or something. So that's really cool that they added it. I'll bet they already had maybe decided to at some point.

Sounds like Houston was a great show.

Highly doubt he is touring with two timpanies. They definitely were not there at the Central Park show.

You are prolly right Terp. All I know for sure is that Darren used these huge drumsticks with foam balls on the top, and had a huge cymbal.

Magic, live, this week
He's just using felt mallets on the toms and hitting a crash or ride cymbal. On the TUBORM tour and at the show in 2008 he had two timpanies.

Just came across this very good review of the Houston show:

And hahaha to the comment about we could've heard OAD but for the improv'd happy birthday song to Tammy.
