Yeah, his brother is Chuck Folds isn't he?
I've never seen a photo but I remember reading about him a long time ago. Isn't he also a musician?
I haven't read that article. Maybe it says in there.

They look SO MUCH alike it's not even funny.
My new philosophy is that a crappy tape deck somewhere plays a greatest hits collection of strange and tender moments, lost, stranded, and forgotten. I'll meet you there.

A friend of mine has told me off because I namedrop a lot over on the Guillemots message boards and always have inside scoops, whereas this guy actullay works with a bunch of bands but never mentions stuff. Anyway, he's told me to stop name-dropping, but, f*ck it, me and Chuck are friends; I even showed him how to put videos up on myspace. We write each other from time to time (don't talk about Ben much, though he did mention him when we were talking about music... Generally, if Ben gets mentioned, it puts a downer on the conversation...) and I'm gonna go over and see 'im (as well as Django, Snuzz, etc.) sometime next year...

Okay, Alex, come March 8th. My plans are to trip down to NC on the 8th for my birthday spectacular. Ringining in 21 (which is the legal drinking age here) in North Carolina with a CF5 concert is the plan.... seeing as the elder of the two Folds boys isn't likely to be on tour in March.

Chuck's a great guy. I'm only assuming you're the one who told Chuck that I'd said that CF5'd be mentioned here... because he up and myspace messaged me again. And we talked about all sorts of things. A bit about Ben, and how it was to grow up as his younger brother and all that. I sent him the part of that Sirius interview with Ben that Chuck was mentioned in. Now he can get on Ben's case come Christmas, is what he said.

Um. Convince your parents otherwise? Ha. Oh man, there's no way my mom'd ever let me do that.

She was freaking out the entire time I was in Nashville.
