Hey this is me playing a song that my friends and I (who are very big fans of ben folds) wrote.  I started piano because of Ben Folds and I know this song is easy but i thought it'd be fun to post.

I've been reading the message boards for a while and i know you guys like to see setlists so i wrote them down in my phone and wrote an amateur review on the concert.
here it goes:
Trusted
Gone
Bastard
Kate
You to Thank
Not the Same
Landed
March to Re-energize Iowa
Underground
Brown Note
Narcolepsy
OAD
Such Great Heights

Ben started at exactly 7:30 and played till 8:30 and i'd say Ben did really well.  At first the crowd wasn't really into him (which i expected going into it) but he was a real crowd pleaser and he did get a lot of good laughs.  After his "March to Re-energize Iowa" (his "rock this bitch" of the concert) the crowd seemed more interested in him but there was still a lot of people coming and going and leaving to get beers.  His "Not the Same" did get a pretty good response (nothing like a regular Folds concert). The brown note skit got a really good response from the crowd and got a lot of laughs.  At the end of OAD he threw the stool at the piano and got a standing O and before getting off stage he went right back and played such great heights (he must've had more time). He left with a good applause and i thought it was amazing.  John Mayer was pretty good (a lot more fun than i thought i would have) and at the end of his set he mentioned ben folds and the crowd cheered loudly, so i'd say Ben scored in Des Moines.

Here's the best part, when leaving the concert some friends and i were walking around to our cars and guess who is walking right next to us? Jared Reynolds! So we walked and talked with him for a good 2 minutes or so. Unfortunately Ben was not around but seeing Jared was extremely cool and we got a picture with him.

Overall the concert was great and I can't wait for him to come back.
