Tour Board / Richmond 4/11/08
« on: April 12, 2008, 11:08:41 PM »
I can't remember the setlist in order and may have left some out (Richmond was a 12 hour round trip, and I'm still not asleep), but here's my best shot:
Errant Dog
Hiroshima
Effington
Narcolepsy
Zak and Sara
Rocking the Suburbs
Underground
Brick
Philosophy/Dr. Pyser
Gone
Bastard
Sentimental Guy
One Down
Morgan Davis
GIRL!!!
Losing Lisa
Not the Same
Bitches Ain't Shit
Army
Gracie
The Luckiest
Kate
Landed
From my vantage point, the audience was pretty cool with lots of fans, a few BAS frat boys, and a healthy amount of dancing and singing.
Right after the bridge of Morgan Davis, Ben stops, puts his head in his hands, and says, "I forgot the lyrics!" The room goes quiet, then I yell out, "FIRE HIS HEAT!" Ben points me out and says thanks!
No Rock This Bitch save a couple of seconds of piano noodling. As previously stated in other threads, Ben broke a piano string and revealed that one of the 4.6 songs was Losing Lisa (which throws out the previous assumption that all of them were on the RTS b-sides EP). Also my friend noticed that bits of this ceiling were falling as well during the show.
This show was my fifth and was the first time I actually got a decent view. I met Ben after the concert and made him laugh by calling myself a nerd. It was an epic moment. Photographic evidence will be supplied by Mel soon.
