Meh, they're alright. The best of a bad bunch.

They're more than alright.

Panic at the Disco
The Enemy
We Are Scientists
Foals
The Hoosiers

Who are they? Apparently all bands that the Glasto organisers think are bigger than Ben Folds! I've never heard of half of them, for shame!

I've heard of all of them and they ARE all bigger than Ben in the UK (all pretty much mainstream, mind). However, they are also ALL shit.

Noooo We are Scientists are good! Obviously not as good as Ben, but still good. (The others are bad).

anyone any idea how far the sheffield bus interchange is from the city centre and academy? think i need to get the tram or sumthin??!?!!

The city centre/academy is reallyyyy close to the bus interchange. Probably 5 minutes walk (if that). You can pretty much see the academy from the interchange. You just go to the next road along and its there.

If the setlists are anything like that in Europe, I will be very, VERY happy. Sounds like you had an awesome night! I'm jealous.

Well i get to see all those other awesome bands too, and as i already had a ticket for this, ben folds is just a bonus. Its a cheap festival compared to england.

I like both of those songs (but i love all things guillemots). The live version of Get Over It does sound very different to the single version (from watching friday night with jonathan ross), which some people might prefer.
I don't know what my point is, but I also have very high hopes for the album!

Bruce Springsteen - I'll be in england when he plays belgium, and 60 pounds is too much to see him in london  :(
