So, I got my copy today. Had to wait for a sale for a certain DVD to get at the same time so I could use all my gift voucher at once.

Umm, I was listening to Bruised. Is it just me, or is it kinda haunted at the end with some kind of low groaning kinda thing inserted?

Guess who f*cked up with his time conversion, and got on at 11:50am to catch the last 10 minutes? Yeah, that'd be me. Awesomeness... *sighs*

Why bother? It's amusing the first listen, but after that, having every 10th word silenced gets real old. Just buy the new album and listen to the proper version.

The fact that "Bitches" is fine to play, but "shit" is wrong, never fails to amuse me.

I think you should. I mean, the fact that I still check the most popular threads on a near daily basis is testament to the funky board/news service you've got here; or how I have nothing else to do with my time. Either way.

I may not post much, but I'm always around. And having run/been a senior moderator of forums for going on over 5 years now, I can honestly say that no two people on these boards deserve it more. Congrats guys.

Cheers Andy. Can't say I've ever come across it.

No chance of a Steven's Last with the DD on MP3?

And, yet, won three gold logies...

I think, really, the only reason he played The Luckiest had nothing to do with it being Rove's wedding song or whatever.

Obviously they never had a chance in hell of fitting 85 people of an Orchestra inside the studio without telling the audience to get the hell out. As such, they had to keep it simple.

And the simplest song, in terms of arrangement, is The Luckiest, with it only relying on the strings section. Cutting out all percussion, horns, woodwind, harp, and probably a chunk of the strings too allows for the "orchestra" to play with Ben on TV.

So, the only option was only ever gonna be The Luckiest. I wish he'd done something more recent to, or at least that gave people an idea of what he does...

*imagines a bunch of 60year olds going "aww, isn't that gorgeous music, let's go see his concert"; and then having heart attacks when he lauches a dozen swear words in his first song*

Seems very similar to the Thursday night show.

Wish he'd played Mess at Thursday's show. Oh well... any chance you have a vid of that one, too?

First couple of rows? As in the front couple of rows?

If so, I say who cares?

When I rang up to get my tickets, I was told by the Opera House that the front 4 rows or so aren't that good, as the stage is set high, and it's like being in the very front row at the movie theatre. You get a whack angle of the stage, it doesn't sound as good, and you go home with a sore neck. So, meh.
