Hi all,
A remember a couple of years ago there was a photo of Ben, I think it his college marching band, which was floating around on the Internet. Anyone have it handy? If I remember correctly it was black & white and he was maybe wearing sunglasses.

Album Board / Album Cover Artwork

Hi everyone,
The recent release of iTunes 7 has finally encouraged me to compile my music collection along with the album art (I love being able to browse through my collection with "Cover Flow"!)
So for those who would like to participate, I was thinking we could provide each other the album covers for any of the the BF/BFF albums - even the unreleased ones that iTunes would never find automatically - I'm talking about the bootlegs, etc. If you have a itch to express yourself artistically, why not create an album cover for one of the bootlegged shows, comprised of an image from the show, or something fitting.
I'm a bit busy with school right now, but I'm hoping that I'll get a chance to make a couple on the weekend. Then I'll post them here. Please provide a decent sized file, so image compression is minimal.
Also, just a note - I'm so glad that iTunes finally incorporated seamless play for those albums which are mixed together with each track! nice work!

I just wanted to say Happy Birthday to this great website here! Andy, I think the new layout is great. Way to go on keeping up the site. I didn't join the site until June of 2001, but I have enjoyed visiting ever since, and all of the content that all of us fans can provide for each other. Thanks Andy!

If someone could clear this up for me, that would be great. Currently, my understanding is that a person has to choose between a 40-page booklet and a strings version of Landed when purchasing Songs For Silverman. Why the hell would they not also include the strings version of Landed with the deluxe edition of SFS? That's like something my cable company would do with channel packages.

General Board / Piano Brands: Differences and Opinions

Hi everyone,
I am wondering what people think of different brands of pianos, what brand you play and why. Why did Ben choose to play Baldwins? I've seen in videos that at some concerts he used to play Steinways. And I've heard of times when he has claimed how Yamahas suck. I have two pianos at home - a Baldwin, and an Armand. They are both uprights, and the Armand is quite old. I get a much richer tone on the lower register of the Baldwin, and I prefer to play it, although the Armand is perfect for the sound it can produce for some genres of music. How about everyone else?? What do you think is the best, and why?

General Board / piano strings

Hey everybody! Â I was wondering, are grand piano/baby grand strings stronger and more durable than upright strings? Â 'Cause Ben hits his piano pretty hard, and I haven't heard of strings breaking. Â But has anybody been to a concert and one of the strings break? Â I have an upright Baldwin, and yeah, I hit it pretty hard, but I don't have near the amount of money Ben does, so I don't hit it as hard as it seems he does, and I have broken 4 strings.

Hey everybody, I was wondering - whatever happened to that Apple/iMac TV commercial that Ben was going to be narrating? Does anyone know where I can find it on the net? I was also wondering if there is an mp3 or something of the MTV awards show song that Ben wrote the music for, and if there is, where I could find it.

After a very short interview, Ben performed Zak & Sara and then he played Fred Jones Pt. 2 which were both great, except when during Fred Jones Pt. 2, for some dumb reason, they cut it off halfway through the song! Â 
 I think its quite rude and stupid if a show invites a musical guest to come play on their show and they don't even air the whole performance!
Did anyone else see it? Â What did you think?
