Conan's band is covering Ben Folds Five

I saw Conan O'Brien on tour tonight (which is an amazing treat for any Late Night fan) and heard a familiar tune as he jolted out on stage. LaBamba and the rest of his band were playing the bridge from "Army."

Has anyone else seen the show? I'm wondering if this is his standard intro theme, or if it changes night to night. Such a great show either way!

Well...not yet. It's just a rumor I guess. But that definitely gives me a chubby.

I'm jealous of anyone who gets to see Conan on this tour. I had a chance to buy tickets, but they were way too expensive for me right now, even at face value.

Not sure how I feel about that and wonder how Ben would pull it off...commuting to and from seems like a significant issue to resolve if Conan's show ends up in Burbank, CA...not really sure where it will be...NYC?...or will they move it to Nashville to be closer to Ben?

If anyone caught Conan's interview on 60 minutes, they showed clips from the tour. Looks like "Army" is the standard intro song after all.
