Way To Normal leak [SPOILERS]

Yeah I'm really surprised it hasn't leaked yet, wonder if the fake leak actually had an effect?

I'm not sure how the fake leak could have an actual effect on a real leak happening.  The fake leak would certainly confuse people who don't know where to look, saturating torrent sites with fake versions and perhaps making it harder to locate the actual one.  But ironically, most of those torrents are already labelled "fake leak" ... so if we get a real one, it shouldn't be too hard to find!

Well. I don't think it detracts from the real album leaking.
However. People (us) aren't as pushy for the new album, cause Ben just treated us to a bunch of new-non-album tracks for free. And threw in three real ones (well, two and a half) to boot.

yeah fake has nothing to do with it not leaking.. all it takes is one person to upload it and it will spread like wildfire.. look at the Death Cab situation earlier this year.. a fake album of some random artist kept springing up, but when it was officially leaked, there was no more confusion

Music just doesn't leak early like it used to.  Back in the old days (meaning...say...5 years ago) albums ALWAYS leaked at least 2 weeks ahead of time...often more like 3 or 4.  But nowadays that just doesn't happen.  Maybe there's just been a loss of interest in the music business (as we've seen with record sales), I'm really not sure. 

Now, of course, it certainly COULD leak this week, it isn't outside the realm of possibility.  But judging other albums and the timeline of when they have leaked within the last year or so, I would say we won't be getting this for another week.

Yeah it probably would only keep the real one from leaking if people didn't already know it was fake....good call.  All I know is I'm definitely glad because not only did I get great music during the wait for the new album, but it kept spoilers to a minimum.

That being said, Who Killed Amanda Palmer leaked, what, a month ago? The album comes out Tuesday. Though, apparently the leak is not the final mastering. From what I understand.

Well, T.I.'s new album just leaked, and that comes out the same day as Way To Normal.  So maybe we will get it this week after all.

And for the record, the new T.I. is quite "sick."

you wanna know what's "sick"?  the new of Montreal album, Skeletal Lamping.  it's overly sexual and i love it!

also, Everything Is Borrowed (the new album from The Streets) is EPIC!  mmm...

Ooooh, I haven't heard that Of Montreal yet! I'll get right on it!
