yeah, my little brother was watching PBS a while ago and he came running to get me because they were playing Rockin' the Suburbs. no singing, just the music. that was pretty awesome. PBS now rocks as far as I'm concerned.
I'm not suffering of insanity, I enjoy every minute of it

I heard "Landed" in my brother's orthodontist's office. It was a nice break from listening to drills for an hour.
Oh, think I'll write a screenplay...

I was on the bus a few weeks ago and i heard some elderly guy maybe about 60 singing Jackson Cannery outloud. Everyone could hear him. So you can this is hearing good music in normal places from strange people.

how about ben lee on the background of laguna beach? yikes. has anyone else noticed that MTV tends to play good music in the background of sh*tty shows?

i've heard "still fighting it" while shopping in the gap.

i heard Flake by Jack Johnson in the backround of a crappy MTV show
My new philosophy is that a crappy tape deck somewhere plays a greatest hits collection of strange and tender moments, lost, stranded, and forgotten. I'll meet you there.

Alex fans will know of my tubby sidekick/minion, Oggelsby. Well, the other day, Oggelsby told me in Geography that when he was in Waterstone's bookstore he heard not 1, but 2 Folds songs; an old one and a new one. I then proceeded to sing every "old" song that they might have played and every "new" song.

The conversation was concluded with me beating him for not knowing what songs they were.

I heard the horn section from Rufus Wainwright's "Beautiful child" on an advert for a BBC drama ages ago...
