Transcription / Such Great Heights
« on: December 21, 2006, 03:32:52 AM »
Anyone got any idea where I can get hold of Ben's 'Such Great Heights' piano cover?

.. having said that, if any of you have a work in progress.....?  ;)

Tour Board / Why not record all shows and post the MP3's for sale?
« on: January 17, 2006, 01:51:42 AM »
What do you reckon guys?

I would pay good money to download a show recording a couple of nights after a gig (of course I'm talking about ones I've been to in particular). Is it not possible for the stage crew to record Ben's shows (if they don't already) and then sell it over the net (there could be a dedicated reocrdings page on the official site - that's get it more hits). Any way they do it it doesn't bother me, I'd just really love to treasure a great gig - it'd be like having your own live album!

If you think its a good idea - say so! (same goes for bad idea - though I expect you back up your answers boys and girls! Especially if you're saying no!)

Consider this a public petition (with a debate running through it)....

Tour Board / UK: Dream Set List
« on: May 11, 2005, 12:33:35 PM »
With Ben coming to the UK in just over a fortnight (YAY!) I wondered what it is that the UK fans will be wanting to hear? How have your fave songs developed over the past two and half years from the last tour? Remember that it could be just as long before you see him again so choose wisely!

My contribution is: (note this is not entirely personal - some suggestions are based on what might create the best atmosphere, given that it is a UK crowd!):

Landed (You’ve landed - Welcome to the UK!)
One Angry Dwarf
The Secret Life of Morgan Davis
Zak and Sara
Tom and Mary
Fired
Adelaide
Jesusland
Jackson Cannery
Song for the Dumped
Protection
Uncle Walter
Rent a Cop
One Down
The Luckiest
Prison Food
Kalamazoo
Time
All you can eat
Army

Songs of Love
(Not a personal favourite – it isn’t Ben’s after all, but it’d go down brilliantly in the UK!!)
Underground

Philosophy
Get Your hands Off my Woman
(again a must for the UK – it is a “Darkness” cover after all!)

That wasn't easy - theres a few i reluctantly had to leave off, but given the normal length of show (which I imagine is a bit shorter than this!) these would be the priorities.

What would yours be?
